In Tokyo/Omotesando you can experience calligraphy by Ishikawa Naruhito. This teacher has started calligraphy from 1st grade primary school. After graduating college, after experiencing dental management consulting, IT consulting and so on, he worked as a manager of a company. Afterwards going into the calligraphy world, he has a very unique career history, and is a very funny person. He will teach courteously to those that do not know how to write Japanese as well, so it is very reassuring for those from abroad.

■Won the Higashikuninomiya culture award!

He is the amazing person who won the Higashikuninomiya culture word in 2010.

■Not only calligraphy!

Not only in calligraphy but he takes part in tea ceremonials and in intensifying Japanese culture. He also does brand consulting and marketing for brushes, and the traditional industries.

■Instructor for signatures- “Kao” !

A type of a signature “Kao” is one of the schools, and he is also the instructor for Tenshinryu. He is also creating the Kao.
